Sold out crowds of guests immersed themselves in 1922, a time of prohibition, jazz, and the recklessness of flappers, and the real Nick Carraway, Tom Buchanan, Jordan Baker, Jay Gatsby, and Ms. Daisy Buchanan. Not only did audiences feel as though you they were part of the world, they experienced a surprising new twist on this classic American tale. Things in this world were not all as they seemed, and the experience was something not easily forgotten.
Guests were invited to explore the Buchanan manor, Nick's cottage, the speakeasy club the Miramar, and of course, Gatsby's mansion, and discovered the real story behind the lost of Daisy and Jay Gatsby's love affair.
This intimate affair allowed only 30 guests for each performance. Bootleg beer and wine, bathtub gin punch, and more were also on hand to enhance the 1922 experience. This performance was done in promenade fashion, that is, moving with the actors from space to space, and scene to scene. 1920s attire was definitely encouraged!
